Ron Shevlin

Ron Shevlin is the Director of Research at Cornerstone Advisors where he heads up the firm’s strategic research efforts, including commissioned research, the Insight Vault service, and the Cornerstone Performance Report. A nationally sought after speaker, Ron is the author of the Amazon best-selling book Smarter Bank, and is the purveyor of fine snark on the Financial Brand’s Snarketing column and the Fintech Snark Tank podcast. Ron’s prior experience includes research and consulting for Aite Group, Forrester Research, and KPMG.

He has an MBA from the University of Texas and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from SUNY Binghamton.
Kandi O'Connor
COO, Vya

Kandi O'Connor is the COO of Vya, a marketing services and technology company. As COO, she oversees the company's business operations and is defining the strategy for guiding the company into the future. She has worked directly with clients for more than 20 years, helping them identify and address marketing challenges. Under her leadership, Vya has built relationships with numerous national and regional brands including Fifth Third Bank, WesBanco, and Simmons Bank.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Kandi has authored several articles which have appeared in industry publications such as The Financial Brand, Brand Quarterly, and ABA Bank Marketing.
